Poker basics refer to understanding the basic rules in the poker game that are unalterable.  Once can play poker without knowing bluffing techniques, but it is impossible to play the game without understanding the poker basics in terms of rank of the hand and are rules that dictate the formation of poker etcetera. Ranking of the cards: The primary of the poker basics is to understand the ranking of the cards.  A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2 is the order of ranking adopted for the card value from high to low.  Ace is the big value and 2 is the low value. 
• Ace has the highest value when seen with A, K, Q, J, T series
• Ace has the lowest value with A, 2, 3, 4, 5…
• There is no ranking for the suits in most cases.
• A, K, Q, J, 10 can be called as high rank cards
• 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, are low rank cards

Poker basics regarding to what makes a Poker hand suggest:-
• No Pair – A hand without any kind of pair.
• Flush - Five cards with same suit.
• Straight - Five cards in sequence.
• Royal flush - A-K-Q-J-T of similar suit.
• Straight flush draw - Any similar suit ranks in sequence.
• Four-of-Kind - Four cards of same value.
• Three-of-a-Kind - Three cards of the same value.
• Full House - having three-of-a-Kind with a pair.
• Three-of-a-Kind - 3 cards of the same value.
• Pair -refers to having two cards of the same rank.

Poker basics of some terms that you need to know in any game:-
• Ante – Is nothing but a small fee to participate in the game
• Blind bet – Is a compulsory bring in where you need to bet before seeing the card.
• Pass – Letting your chance go without betting or drawing
• Call – Contributing a bet to the pot based on the strength of the hand
• Raise – Increasing the bet amount to more
• Fold – Getting out of the game without claiming the pot
• Muck – folding, but not letting others see the cards
• Discard – Not using the card that one has got from the dealing
• Replacement – Getting another card in place of the discarded card
• Showdown – Showing all the cards in the hand at the end of the game for comparing and deciding on the winner.
